The wide sandy beaches, hidden creeks and coves, heritage coastal footpath and stunning waterfront towns and villages are all within easy reach. The little beach at Wembury is the closest beach and only about 5 miles away.
The great sweep of Bigbury Bay is just around the coast – where there is the romantic 1930’s hotel on Burgh Island and the two beaches of Bigbury and Bantham, both popular with surfing and windsurfing enthusiasts.
Most of the local beaches hold coveted Blue Flag awards and/or Seaside awards; a testament to the purity of their sea water and quality of the facilities.
The glorious heritage path wends its way all around the stunning coast with diversions to smaller and less well known little beaches and bays.
